The client approached us with a challenge their backyard was divided by an old retaining wall, making it hard to utilize and enjoy. Stepping out from the living area felt like entering a different, unusable part of the property.

They wanted to reclaim that space, turning it into something practical and low-maintenance a backyard they could actually enjoy.

We removed the retaining wall and designed a custom deck that now extends directly from the home, creating a smooth transition between indoors and outdoors. The new layout opens up the area, adds function, and completely changes how the home feels.

What was once a tricky patch of grass is now a clean, inviting space for everyday living simple, warm, and built to last.
